Yannarthusbertrand Yannarthusbertrand Yannarthusbertrand. I cannot get his name out of my head.

One month ago exactly, Craig and I went to an exhibit held in the newly opened Waitangi Park.
It was Earth From Above, an exhibition of photos (taken at a great altitude) by Yann Arthus Bertrand (yannarthusbertrand yannarthusbertrand yannarthusbertrand) set up to snake around the walkways of the park.

The day that we went it was Bitterly cold. With a capital B. The high was 13C but the wind chill seemed like -4C. Very cold. But, as seen in the photos, the sun did appear and warmed our backs as we walked around within the crowds. Everyone was wearing layer upon layer and had that annoyingly adorable rosie flush on their cheeks and noses. Even the air smelled hopeful.

(Oh and to see more photos, just click on the one above.)
